Sonny Landreth (USA)

Clyde Vernon "Sonny" Landreth was Born 1st February 1951 in Canton/MS. He grew up in Lafayette/LA. Lnadreth is known as "the King of Slydeco". His Music is Blues witha lot of Zydeco. Eric Clapton said:"He is one of the most advanced guitarist in the world and one of the most under-appreciated". Landreth is best knwon for his slide guitar playing, having developed a technique where he also frets notes and Plays chords and chord Fragments by fretting behind the slide while he Plays.
