Sue Foley (CAN)

Sue Foley is one of the great contemporary Blues Ladies. She was Born on 29th March 1968 in Ottawa, Canada. When she was 13 she learned to Play guitar and at age 16 she had her first gig. She relocated to Vancouver and formed the Sue Foley Band, touring Canada. Atthe age of 20 she moved to Austin/TX and got herself a recording contract with Antone's. From 1992 to 1996 she recorded 4 Albums with Antone's. In 2001 she won the Juno Award and 17 Maple Blues Awards and 3 Trophees de Blues in France. In 2010 and 2012 she recorded two Albums with Peter Karp (He said she said & Beyond the Crossroads). She has been guest musician for several Blues artists such as Mark Hummel, Lazy Lester, Candye Kane, Steve Marriner and Big Dave McLean.
