Famous German Rock band from the 1970's. Founded in the summer 1972 by rock-röhre Inga Rumpf, Jean-Jacques Kravetz and Karl Heinz Schott all of them ex members of former band Frumpy which disbanded that summer. Atlantis was completed by guitarist Frank Diez and drummer Curt Cress. For almost each Album and tour band members were replaced and came back later. Udo Lindenberg on drums as well as Ringo Funk and Georg Meier on bass.
Atlantis disbanded in 1976 but to fullfill a recording contract they recorded their last Album. In 1983 Atlantis held a reunion concert in their hometown Hamburg with all founding members.
