B.B. & The Blues Shacks is a German Blues Band from Hildesheim. Founded 1989 in Lamspringe by Andreas Arlt (Guitar), Andreas Bock (drums), Martin Schlockwerder (bass) and two weeks later Michael Arlt, brother of Andreas, joined the band as front man, playing harmonica and singing. They Play an authentic, raditional style with a touch of Soul. They performed all over Europe, the USA, Dubai, South Africa and Australia. In 1994 they had to replace Sherman Robertson at the Breminale, Thomas Ritter of Stumble Records heard them and offered them a recording contract. That kicked off their Career. After all These years the line-up has changed, soon the bass Player was replaced by Peter Reichardt and in 1996 Henning Hauerken took over the bass. Andreas Bock stayed until 2006, was replaced by Bernhard Egger, Jochen Reich only stayed behind the drums for one year and since 2014 Andre Werkmeister is the Drummer. Since 2003 a Keyboard/piano was added to the band.Dennis Koeckstadt played the Ebony & Ivory until 2015 when he left to start his own Career. The piano was taken over by Fabian Fritz.
