Sean Costello was Born 16 April 1979 in Philadelphia. He died on day before his 29th birthday on April 15 2008. He was found dead in his Atlanta Hotel room. He had suffered from bipolar disorder. His Family set up the Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research.
Sean Costello was known for his fiery guitar playing and soulful singing. He released 5 critically acclaimed Albums bevor his Career was cut short by his much to early sudden death. Tinsley Ellis called him "the most gifted Young guitarist on the Scene...he was a triple threat on guitar, vocal and as a Songwriter".
At the age of 14 he won a guitar contest in Memphis and soon after founded his first band. At just 16 he recorded his first album "Call The Cops". In 1998 he played the lead-guitar on Susan Tedeschi's Gold selling album "Just Won't Burn". His second Album "Cuttin' In" was nominated for the Blues Award for Best New Artist. He had just finished recording his 5th album "We can get together" for Delta Groove Records when he died.
